The New Annual Assurance Statement
28th June 2019

What makes a good Annual Assurance Statement?

In its ‘Thematic Inquiry on Self Assessing Against Regulatory Standards’,  the Scottish Housing Regulator highlighted that “many landlords have policies and practices that should help them meet Regulatory Standards, but few regularly and comprehensively assess themselves against Regulatory Standards”.

Given that the central purpose of the Annual Assurance Statement is to evidence the RSL’s ongoing assessment of compliance with the Regulatory Standards it is no wonder that many, if not most, see this new requirement as challenging!

In this half day workshop, delegates will be taken through the requirements of an Annual Assurance Statement, learn about evidence-based assurance and receive practical guidance on what makes a good Statement.
