Chairing effective meetings

Chairing effective meetings

In this short interactive session, we examine the critical factors that will determine whether or not a meeting will be successful, focusing on the role of the Chair.

This workshop is relevant to all current and prospective Chairs, managers and staff who chair meetings on a regular basis as well as clerks/Board secretaries and other officials who service Boards, Committees and/or Teams/Groups.

The workshop is delivered by a mix of Powerpoint presentation and case studies/group discussion. Slides are used by the facilitator to set out best practice but most of the workshop involves consideration of real life case studies and facilitated discussion of practical issues.
